Day 1 in Aurora

8 am: Breakfast at Sam's No. 3

Start your day with delicious breakfast at Sam's no. 3, one of the favorite breakfast spots in Aurora. 11:00 am: Plains Conservation Center

After getting inner peace with Yoga, its time to be with Nature. In Aurora, the easiest way to do that is by visiting Plains Conservation Center. This is Aurora’s most famous and most visited animal conservation center. Here you will find lot of wildlife animals like dear, snakes, wild buffaloes, native grazers, rare species of birds and even herbs and plants. The lot of lush greenery around here is just as much worth visiting this place for.

12:30 pm: Aurora History Museum

Here Aurora’s history comes alive through many antique artifacts. Artifacts that cannot be found anywhere else in Aurora town, but only in this museum. These unique and exclusive collections of artifacts will ensure that even history haters won’t feel any boredom here. This obviously also means that if you do have slightest of interest in history, then this visit can very well turn into memorable affair. In any case though one thing is rest assured. 1: 30 pm: Lunch at Pearl of Siam

Pearl of Siam restaurant is considered as one of the finest restaurants in Aurora for Thai cuisines. 2: 30 pm: Bowling at AMF Aurora Lanes



Get ready for bowling at Aurora’s most famous bowling destination, AMF Aurora Lanes. Bowling being such an infectious sport you’ll surely love every minute that you’ll spend here. 3:45 pm: Shopping at Town Center at Aurora

Popularly known as Aurora Mall, this is the most popular shopping destination of Aurora town. There are nearly 200 retail stores located inside this big indoor mall. Going by sheer numbers of shops here then you’re certainly in for ultimate shopping excursion. Not to mention that exactly adjacent to this huge shopping mall is Aurora City Square, Aurora City Place, and Aurora Park Shopping Center. Each of these adjacent neighborhoods is a great shopping destination in its own rights.

5: 15 pm: Beach time at Aurora Reservoir

Get ready to drench yourself in Aurora’s most beautiful and only beach, Aurora Reservoir. However, apart from merely drenching & swimming,  you can indulge in many other recreation activities as well. Fishing, boating, scuba diving, beach games or just lounge around with chilled beer.

If you’re visiting Aurora with young kids, then you’ll feel more than happy to be at Great Plains Park. It is a place abound with lot of water park fun and few other worthwhile recreations tailor made for children. Water parks though are main attraction of this park, which actually are designed for young kids. Especially the ones who are below 10 years of age.

11: 30 am -Enjoy Horse Racing at Arapahoe Park
